Prof. Dr. Mario Ruben

Prof. Dr. Mario Ruben (Chair "Molecular Materials“ at KIT, Karlsruhe, Germany, and Université de Strasbourg, France) and his research group at KIT's Institute of Nanotechnology focus on the materials used for quantum technologies. Prof. Ruben's group is thematically organised in the interdisciplinary research topics of Functional Molecules, Molecular Electronics and Carbon-based Nanostructures.

The research activities deal with the design of functional nano-systems by state-of-the-art organic/inorganic synthesis and supramolecular self-assembly techniques.
